The singer, guitarist, songwriter and broadcaster Midian began her musical career in 1993,
when attending music festivals and played in bars and bells Valley metropolitan region of Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul.
Coming from a family of musicians, her interest for singing happened from the early age. She turned professional at the age of 18.
Very soon her work attracted the journalists. She very quickly became well known in the South of Brazil with many appearances on tv programs,
local radio stations and articles in newspapers and magazines.
For instance Midian participated in the programs: Official Lunch (RBS), Good Morning Rio Grande (RBS), Stage (TV COM),
Studio 36 (TV COM), Radar (TVE), Zoom (Guaíba) and Patrola (RBS).
From 1998 until she had left her home country, Midian worked as the singer of the Splash band in the best night events in Southern Brazil.
A year later, the singer began recording commercial jingles and advertisements for producers and agencies from all over Brazil.
In 2000, Midian worked with the singer and composer Oswaldo Montenegro, in the musical “Legends of the Island”, recording solos and vocals on the eponymous album.
This work, which includes theatrical interpretation, became a milestone in the career of the singer, giving her professional insight and new knowledge.
From 2001 to 2005, in addition to the presentations, the artist studied music, drama and dance at the Art Institute of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
From 2005, her voice was easily recognised as you could hear her in the most famous educational advertisement (“Education is everything”)
which was inserted approximately 44,000 times in intervals of Globo TV (the principal tv channel in Brazil) programs and radio stations!
In 2006, the singer was invited to sing in France, She stayed there during three months and her work was much that appreciated!
When she went back to Brazil, she started recording her first album, She came back singing with the Splash
(which is one of the creators) and also for advertising jobs.
In 2008, she celebrated 15 years of road, beginning the recording of their first and coveted career drive.
The CD “A minha vez” (in English ” my time” was completed in the second half of 2009.
The release concert of the CD filled the theater Renaissance, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, on the night of November 17, 2009, a great thrill show.
Midian is one of the great voices of popular music!
Currently, (since 2015) the singer lives in the United Arab Emirates, and begins to make her story at major events in the famous hotels of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Taking Brazilian music as a main dish, but always mixing with English and Spanish songs, it begins to stand out scenery in the Middle East, with concerts in hotels such as Atlantis, Grand Hyatt, Kempinski, Ramada Plaza, Hilton JBR, Fogueira Restaurant (New Year’s Eve 2018 and 2019), Westin in Abu Dhab, Mercure Jabel Hafeet (Al Ain).
Her repertoire is great, with pop, rock, romantic songs, soul, reggae, bossa nova, samba, disco and dance, as requested.
