Born in Austria and started music education at the Anton Bruckner University.
She graduated with distinction from the Mozarteum Salzburg under Prof. Barbara Bonney, and finished her Master’s degree at the University for Music and Performing Arts. During this period she was also accepted into the renowned Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia, USA.
She has worked with Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Sir Thomas Allen and Placido Domingo. She has performed a number of notable roles, such as Mimi, Rosalinde, Donna Elvira, First and Second lady, Agathe and Sylva Varescu.
Furthermore, Bettina has participated in many competitions and has won top prizes at “Prima la Musica”, Ferruccio Tagliavini International Vocal Competition, Musica Juventutis and was a Semifinalist at Competizione dell’Opera and Elizabeth Connell Prize for young dramatic sopranos. In addition, she has received grants from Solti Te Kanawa Accademia, Hübel Foundation and the Rolex Institute.
Bettina is a popular soloist for opera, operetta and german song repertoire both in Austria and abroad and has performed at the Salzburg Festival, the Festival George Enescu, Opera Festival Klosterneuburg, Bipo Istanbul, Theater Baden, Wiener Konzerthaus, Royal Danish Opera, Malmö Live and Konzerthaus Stockholm.
Bettina’s future engagements include Fiordiligi in Saarbrücken and Ortlinde as well as cover Sieglinde for a new Wagner Festival in Austria.
