Tai is an international comedian from the United States, based in the UAE for over five years. Tai began performing comedy at the age of nineteen in small clubs and venues in Houston, Texas. His quick wit and social perspective got the attention of established comedians. Tai became the youngest regular at Houston’s legendary urban comedy club Jus Jokin’. While there Tai performed with mega comedy superstars like Kevin Hart and Oscar winner Monique’.
Currently Tai now lives Dubai where he performs regularly throughout the Middle East. He is a member of Dubomedy, the most recognized comedy troupe in the region. Tai also hosts a regular monthly show The Comedy Suite that features local comedians and comedians from the US and UK. He has been recognized by the UAE Comedy Awards as “The Biggest Hustler” as well as “Best Social Media” in the annual awards.
Tai’s first stand up comedy special “Half Hood” debuted at the 2015 Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland. The show was selected a Deuchars IPA featured festival event. Half Hood is currently available on iTunes and Spotify.
