Kelly is a professional singer who was born and raised in Liverpool, United Kingdom. Her repertoire includes soul, Rnb, gospel, pop, jazz and neo soul. Her main influences growing up were Mariah Carey, Whitney, Jill Scott, Erika Badu, Stevie wonder and Destiny’s Child. Coming from a large musical family, Kelly was inspired by her father, who was a professional singer and drummer. He performed on the club circuit from the age of fourteen.

Kelly started performing professionally at the age of 16, where she started on the club circuit. She performed solo, and also became part of a female soul duo with her best friend Hayli Kincade.

At the age of 16 Kelly was introduced to an independent label ‘TopNotch’ and began co-writing and recording original material with the Liverpool-based writers and producers. At the age of seventeen she was signed to ‘Integral Records’ and was managed by Martin O’Shea, who was the founder of Liverpool pop group Atomic Kitten.

In 2004, Kelly supported many UK acts on their arena tour including Atomic Kitten, Sugar babes, Blue, Girls Aloud and Romeo, performing to crowds of over 40,000 people.

Kelly continued to work on several projects after parting with her manager four years later. She continued to write and record original material with local producers on material ranging from dance and house tracks, to soul, Rnb and pop tracks.

Kelly continued to perform around the UK as a solo artist. In 2013, she become part of a vocal harmony group ‘The Estrelles’. In 2014, The Estrelles appeared on the TV show X factor. The Estrelles were the only original female group in the UK who made it to the semi-final stages of the competition – The judges houses stage.
They impressed the shows judges Simon Cowell, Kelly Rowland, Gary Barlow, Jessie J and Tulisa, and received numerous standing ovations after their arena performances. The Estrelles continued to perform as a four piece all over the country and became celebrities in their home city. The Estrelles were asked to perform at an event in Las Vegas, where they sang alongside Donny and Marie Osmond and country singer Corby Calay.

After not making it to the live show stages of the competition, Kelly decided to attend university and graduated as a Primary Teacher. Alongside this, she always pursued her music. She was involved in many projects in the community and became a vocal coach; coaching people of all ages, working on vocal technique and performance. She conducted many choirs and became responsible for leading many community performances.

Most recently, Kelly moved to Dubai in August 2018 in order to seek work overseas. In November, Kelly performed at the 2018 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi and hopes to perform there again this year. Kelly currently resides in Sports City and performs as a solo act, duo act and also as part of a four and five-piece band.
She says, ‘music is a great release for me, it really is good for the soul. Once it’s in you, it’s hard to stop. I don’t think I’ll ever stop enjoying being on stage’.
