Irena is a professional flutist, originally from Macedonia, performing and teaching in the UAE for the last 10 years. She has been performing as soloist, and member of different smaller and larger ensembles such as UAE Philharmonic Orchestra, NSO Symphonic Orchestra, Dubai chamber orchestra and others. She is a founding member of Skylark Duo, Trio Musica, Elements Trio and Contemporary Trio.
Irena performs different genres of music starting from classical, Bossa nova, Jazz standards, Popular film music, and selection of Pop and Arabic songs. Over the last decade, she has performed in UAE, India, Qatar, Kuwait, UK, Switzerland, Serbia, Montenegro, and Macedonia.
Some of the clients in UAE include Rivoli, Vertu, Cityscape, Emaar, Dubai World Cup, Volvo Ocean Race, Fragrance Foundation Arabia, Tiffany’s, Cartier, Swarovski, Nike, Qatar Gas, to name a few.
