Cuban musician Denys was born in Havana in 1999, since a very early age his dad, a piano and trombone player introduced him the music and from the age of 11 years old he started in the elementary school of music at Manuel Saumel in La Havana. During the a academic process he learned all about Latin Percussion and represented the school in different competitions.

At 15 years old he started his studies in the conservatory of music, when he learned more about the Latin percussion and also the classic percussion well. He participated in the international competition – Fiesta del Tambor playing Batas drums getting the 3rd place in the competition and collaborating with amazing drummers in Cuba like Ruy Lopez and Enrique in their concerts.

After Denys graduated in 2018, he was part of the most important military band of Cuba playing hymns for presidents and ambassadors from all around the world and important military ceremonies all around the country.

In 2021 Denys moved to UAE for one of the most important events in the world, Expo 2020 and he joined to official department of musicians in Expo with more than 50 international musicians representing all the cultures and also he played in the opening ceremony of the Museum of the Future in Dubai UAE.

He lives in Dubai and improving himself learning every day and working with different musicians from all around the world.
